German-Bulgarian work programme signed

State Secretary Schmachtenberg meets with Deputy Minister Rousinova

State Secretary Dr. Rolf Schmachtenberg welcomed Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy Zornitsa Rousinova at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs on 16 May 2019. The main topic of the meeting was the signing of the German-Bulgarian work programme on the future cooperation of the Ministries which is intended to continue the concrete implementation of the joint declaration of intent of 2012. Experts from both ministries regularly exchange views on relevant topics. On the basis of the new work programme, the good cooperation is to be continued for the next two years. The topics agreed upon include the integration of the long-term unemployed into the labour market, inclusion of persons with disabilities and the labour market integration of immigrants.
