Social Europe Conference
Federal Minister Hubertus Heil has extended an invitation to a high-level European policy conference to be held on 6 November 2023. The conference is to discuss challenges and potential priorities for the work of the next EU Commission with the intention of further advancing a strong Social Europe.
First pension dialogue with Ukraine
On 19 October 2023, State Secretary Dr. Rolf Schmachtenberg held a virtual dialogue with Daria Marchak and Iryna Postolovska, Ukraine’s deputy ministers of social policy, as well as Ukrainian pension experts. State Secretary Schmachtenberg expressed his solidarity with Ukraine.
