State Secretary Fahimi in Chile and Argentina

Last week State Secretary Yasmin Fahimi visited Chile and Argentina. The programme of her visit included talks at Chile's Ministry of Labor on the labour market situation there, on the planned reform of the pension system and on the issue of the fair and just distribution of wealth. Also included were a discussion on gender equality at the invitation of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and visits to the state copper mine CODELCO and the K+S salt mine in Chile. State Secretary Fahimi's visits served to gather information about the working conditions, work safety measures, the digital transformation of the work flows and the further development of the companies at their locations in Chile.
